So hows the project going? 

We have arrange everything so printing of the cards can start on July (We still need to verify that Cartamundi has free slots on their printing schedule, if they don't we would need to move on to the next month), the printing should take roughly 30 days, after that, shipping should be next, which could take between 30 to 45 days.

So ill do another big update when the process starts so everybody its in the loop.

About the add-ons

RODA the free cardistry move that we promised to all the backers of this project, its been recorded right now and should be ready for everybody next week. We will provide links to our store so you can redeem it through an update.

Thanks for the wait guys, we promise the cards are going to feel amazing.

Hello Guys Héctor here.

Good news :) Things are moving forward, it seem there are no more delays and we are currently selecting what can be the replacement for our box.

So we got a chance to speak directly to Cartamundi in person at a recent event in México City to check on some options for the tuck box that we wanted for the Red Enigmas and i am happy to announce that we have finally decided on a new material, The Cobra deck that was recently printed by Cartamundi has the perfect replacement tuck box on a very good looking deep red and thats what we intent to use as our new tuck box.

We are now only waiting for the official quote for the tuck box (Done by Cartamundi. we cannot start the printing process unless we have all the numbers provided by them) in order to start printing and get the decks to all of you, we only need to clear the price point for the tuck boxes and we are good to go. We should receive that quote this month (they have promised to give us the quote this month)

Now I would just like to point out some facts about the project here, so we can keep our facts as correct as possible.

1.- Yes, this project has been delayed, it should have been ready for shipping on late March/Early April 2018. So, as of now, we are behind schedule by 1.5 months, we are working on fixing that as soon as possible so everybody can have their cards. We naively thought that the process of getting the funds from kickstarter and printing the cards would have been faster, we made a mistake there. We are sorry.

2.- The delay occurred because of a price rise on the tuck box material that we wanted to use, we couldn't have prevented that, its out of our control. The price rise occurred with the change of the year from 2017 to 2018 WHILE THE PROJECT WAS GETTING FUNDED. It takes kickstarter roughly 30 days to get the money to us, we were in late January when we got the funds, there was nothing we could do about the price rise.

3.- There were some issues with the backerkit emails, but those got resolved and everybody should have completed the backerkit by now. If you haven't please send me a pm so i can help you.

So as of now if there are any questions, please send me a pm so i can personally reply to you in a timely manner, this is also to not have messages all over the kickstarter and we can be organized on how we communicate.

I assure you we are going to compensate you all for this delay, we are not yet ready to reveal what we want to do but i promise its going to be really cool.

Update on date of printing and shipping

Hi Guys! Héctor here...

So the backerkit just ended recently and we have almost all the information from every backer (we are still waiting on some of you and fixing some issues with pledges and address changes, if you still have any issue with your pledge or your backerkit, please send me a pm).

So now to the important stuff..

Are the cards being printed right now?

No, they are not yet printing, why? Well, we did encounter some issues.

The original tuck box that we envisioned for our cards (soft touch, bright red), went up on price as we changed from 2017 to 2018 by a big margin (big enough that we cant afford it).

So backerkit was supposed to bring in enough money to cover for that difference in price for the tuck box, sadly it didn't but we did get back the money that we invested on backerkit.

So we are still looking for options outside of what Cartamundi offered us for the tuck box (Cartamundi has been amazing on this process, they have shown us a lot of support and council on what to do and how to handle the delays)

We are now expecting a variety of soft touch tuck box materials in different shades of red and with different "touch" sent from Asia, that are supposed to be a great replacement at an amazing price (those should arrive to us by the first week of May), so we can settle on a good material for our tuck box.

So thats where we are right now, if we get everything rolling we could be printing our cards by the end of May / start of June.

Delays like this happen all the time on big projects, im sorry we didn't prepare for this, we didn't expect a sudden price rise on materials, it caught us by surprise but we are working hard to fix this.

Its important to know that the quality of the cards will not be impacted by this delay in any shape or form, you will receive a top quality deck of cards.

Im really sorry it took so long to fix the backerkit surveys, we had issues with the payment methods that backerkit needs us to use (since we are located in México, this means Stripe its not available for this backerkit campaign, but you will be able to pay for any add-ons you want via Paypal) i really want to thank you all for your patience with this project, we are working hard to make the best possible deck for you.

You should now be receiving your backerkit surveys, you will be able to fill it with any of the original pledges you made and the possibility of adding any of the add-ons that were available during the campaign.

Payment for any extra add-ons can be done via paypal (we will not be able to use Stripe since we are located in México).

If there are any questions you can send me a private message here in kickstarter or you can ask it directly on Backerkit Support. 

As for the Add-ons you will be able to add any of the following to your original pledges.

• Torch Red Enigma Decks (1, 2, 6 or 12 or as many as you like)
• Black Enigma Decks (Just 24 available + 6 signed ones)

Survey Deadline its: 04/10/2018

So any questions or add ons you want to buy or changes to your address need to be done before that date.

Quick Update about the backerkit

We have received all your messages and emails about the backerkit not showing on your emails, we are currently in contact with the backerkit team to fix this. So dont worry.

And please excuse us if we cant answer you right away, we got 150 pms the same day, we got a little overwhelmed.
