This is a general update.
A week ago we finished the digital proofing for the cards, this means that I got a revised digital version of the USPCC templates with our design, it had no errors on our part or USPCC's part, which means the cards could go on to the next phase. Because of all the COVID19 restrictions USPCC took over a month just to create the digital proofs for us and then they took 15 more days just to move to the next phase once we gave them the OK.
In short, I approved the digital proofs with no problems so we could finally sign the contract.
The contract stipulates how many decks are going to be printed and how they are going to be printed (general specs) we should be looking for a print time of at least 5 weeks (it could take up to 7 weeks).
USPCC will have a holiday break so that means we lose 1.5 weeks between December 2020 and January 2021, so expect the deck in mid January 2021.
As it is right now the cards will be printed in premium crushed stock with magic finish. This was not considered when we were going to print with Cartamundi, to keep it short the cards will feel like modern Fontaine's / Anyone decks which is a pretty solid quality.
Thats it, I will update when USPCC update's me on anything related to the cards but you should have a pretty clear view of when to expect the cards.
Regarding the box color, we changed the color because of a recommendation from USPCC regarding the saturation of the reds and our design.
